Lyla turns 4

It's hard to believe my little Lyla turns 4 today. She is a spunky, full of energy child, and my world revolves around her. I am so thankful God has placed her in my life.
This morning me and Lyla went to eat lunch at Wong's with Mema, GiGi, and Jessy. At the restaurant the waitress was so kind and made a big deal about Lyla's birthday. She brought her out a "donut cake" with a candle and sang to her. Lyla blew the candle out before she finished singing.

Lyla took Poppy some "donut cake" to work.

Then we came home to get ready for her little family party. This year Lyla understood that it was her birthday and what it meant. She was so excited and planned out what she wanted. She asked me for a chocolate cake with chocolate icing and Barbies. With that said I attempted to make her a cake from scratch (This was first for me). While decorating it with sprinkles Lyla smiled so big at me and told me, "Mommy it's perfect!"
Hearing that made everything worth it.
Once everyone arrived at the house we watched Lyla blow out her candles and unwrap her presents. She was loved all the attention. She jumped for joy with each gift she opened. Afterwards when everyone left she told me and BJ, "this was so much fun!"
She ended her night in the bath tube with her new princess Barbie.
